our niece, ruby jane, spent much of saturday afternoon making ghosts for an impressive haunted house, including a tombstone-like warning carved from (what must be) granite and engraved in (i have to assume) blood. a coup de maitre, she adds the skull ring to the mantelpiece - a terrifying touch to an already macabre installation. gave me the willies - way to go, ruby!
